By-law Amendment Vote

To all members of Clan Maclean Association in the U.S.,
The meeting to discuss the by-law change that would amend Article III, Section 2, Category C (which includes Septs), concerning what has been called the 4th Generation Rule, which would extend this condition to the 6th generation, did not take place.
We received several proxy votes, and I thank all who sent those in,however, proxy votes do not count towards a quorum.
Per our organization’s Constitution we must have a quorum before any vote can occur. After 15 minutes we did not achieve a quorum. Therefore we had no choice but to stop the meeting with plans to reschedule for a future date.–
Jason S. Wamsley, President, Clan Maclean Assoc. in the US
