Stage 4 is underway and on course to stay within its budget of £500,000. At the moment no additional works have been identified for this stage. The stonemasons hope to have completed their work outside by the end of November so they can move inside the castle to take down the old plaster over the winter months. Obviously some of this is weather dependent, but at the moment they are on course to achieve their completion of this stage as planned by June 2018.
The Appeal is planning to contribute half (£250,000) of the cost of Stage 4. To achieve its target the Appeal needs to raise an additional £120,000. We need your help!
